"Mars" comes form a line of very sound horses with long riding careers under amateur owners. "Mars" grew up in rugged, wooded pastures of 50 acres or more with running water to cross. Mars is currently being started under saddle and is walking/trotting well. He will continue in full time training until sold. Mars has an incredibly easy going and sweet disposition, a willingness to work and learn and lovely ground manners. He is currently in a paddock with a variety of geldings and gets along well with other horses. Mars has lovely gaits with a long, sweepy trot allowing him to be suitable as a dressage, eventing or even hunter prospect. Mars should continue to grow another inch or two and his stylish conformation makes him eye catching. In addition, Mars has one blue eye framed with white eye lashes which adds to his "candy appeal". This is a wonderful young horse who will be well suited to showing, exhibition or with his superior temperament an amateur rider with a trainer looking to bring along an uncomplicated young horse.
