Rubia is a stunning 16+ Hand 6-Year-old Half Andalusian Mare who
has a wonderfully willing temperament and a sincere desire to please.
Rubia is very light, forward and sensitive. Her smooth gaits are easy to
sit yet her animated suspension has enough expression to score very
well in dressage. This visually stunning mare is extremely athletic and
could excel in any Sporthorse discipline. Rubia's quiet disposition
makes her a great fit for either a Junior or an Adult Amateur, yet she
is athletic and powerful enough for a professional to take up the
levels. She is ready to compete at Training Level and is beginning to
school First Level with leg yielding, lead changes thru the trot,
beginning counter canter and trot lengthenings. While she is proving
herself to be a willing riding horse, she is ultra-feminine and
possesses excellent conformation making her an exemplary broodmare
candidate as well. Rubia has had the same owner since birth that has
provided excellent care so she is in top health and condition. She is
current on all vaccines, farrier (has never needed shoes), deworming and
dental.Rubia is registered with the Iberian Warmblood Association,
and registerable with IALHA. She has been in full time training under
saddle since March 2013 with distinguished trainer Mindy Price. Mindy is
a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist who over the past 25 years has become
known for her ability to develop award winning upper level dressage
